25+ Years of Technology Experience, Dedicated to Small Business

Small businesses have always had the ambition. They've just rarely had someone in their corner who could translate technology into real business outcomes. That's the gap I built Rahn to fill.

The gap nobody was filling.

What I kept noticing, year after year, was a problem hiding in plain sight. The tools that gave large companies their edge — intelligent automation, AI-powered workflows, streamlined processes — were becoming available to businesses of every size. But small businesses weren't getting there. Not because the technology wasn't ready. Because nobody was helping them bridge it.

The consultants who could do this work were expensive and built for enterprise clients. The tech vendors were selling products, not outcomes. And small business owners — already wearing five hats — didn't have the time or a trusted guide to figure it out on their own.

I spent over 25 years inside that enterprise world — focused on digital transformation, process automation, and helping large organizations use technology to run better and move faster. Eventually I stopped wondering why nobody was bringing that same capability to small businesses — and built Rahn to do it.

Not as another consulting firm with a service menu. As a real working partner — someone who gets inside your business, learns how it actually operates, and helps you use technology to do more with what you already have.

I'm based in Crown Point, Indiana. When you work with Rahn, you work directly with me — from the first conversation through everything that follows. No account managers, no junior handoffs. Just someone who genuinely cares whether the work makes a difference for your business.

How I Approach the Work

A few things I believe strongly enough that they shape every engagement.

Fix the Process Before the Technology

You can't automate a broken process — you just break it faster. I always start by understanding how your business actually operates: where time disappears, where errors creep in, where your team is doing manually what a well-designed system should handle. That foundation has to be solid before anything else is built on top of it.

Your People Have to Come With You

The number one reason technology projects fail isn't the technology — it's adoption. If your team doesn't understand it, trust it, or see how it makes their job better, it won't stick. I build solutions around how people actually work, and I stay involved through the transition to make sure it lands.

Outcomes Over Tools

I'm not here to sell you software or chase the latest AI trend. I'm here to find the specific places in your business where technology creates real, measurable value — and build exactly that. If a simpler solution gets you there, that's what I'll recommend. The goal is always your business, not the technology.

If this sounds like the kind of partner you've been looking for, let's talk.

No pitch. Just an honest conversation about your business and whether working together makes sense.
